BB09d Battle of Britain - DFC signed Sqn Ldr Paul Patten

JS(CC)89d / JS(BB)9d 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain cover with artwork by Tony Theobald showing a Hurricane of No 615 Squadron and Spitfires of No 64 Squadron in background engaging Bf 109s. The cover also shows the Distinguished Flying Cross awarded to airmen for bravery and gallantry. The cover bears complete set of four Monserrat Battle of Britain stamps cancelled on first day of issue.
