RAF FDC43 1996 Christmas RAF FDC signed CO 18 Chinook Sqn

Cover bears full set of 1996 Christmas stamps cancelled on 1st Day of Issue with 18 Squadron BFPS 2542 postmark depicting 18 Squadron's Winged Horse crest. Cover also depicts the Squadron Badge of 18 Squadron and a Chinook which is the aircraft flown by 18 Squadron. Cover has been flown in Chinook from RAF Laarbruch to RAF Honington for day and night moves of 24 Airmobile Brigade during Exercise Gryphon's wing.
