Cover depicts Hurricanes of 249 Squadron and bears full set of Astronomy stamps cancelled on First Day of Issue with BFPS 2253 for the 50th Anniversary of the reforming of 249 Squadron. Cover has been flown in High Society's hot air balloon Cocktail in aid of research into cancer immunology from Ashton Court Bristol to Widleys Farm Malmesbury during a mass ascent of 124 balloons at the 1990 Bristol International Balloon fiesta.
