Cover produced in 2000 to commemorate the Queen Mother`s Century. The cover artwork is made up of photographs taken during the Queen Mother`s lifetime including Hurricanes during the Battle of Britain, The King and herself along side Winston Churchill during WWII, with her daughter HM The Queen, HRH Prince Philip, HRH Princess Anne and HRH Prince Charles on Buckingham Palace balcony, sitting next to two soldiers, with the Red Arrows at RAF Cranwell, with HM Queen and HRH Princess Margaret and inspecting troops.

The cover has been flown in a Twin Squirrel of No 32 (The Royal) Squadron from RAF Northolt to RAF Brize Norton and return. The cover bears Queen Mother`s Century 15p Ascension Island stamp cancelled with Crown Agents Stamp Burean Cachet.

William Hague was born in Rotherham on 26 March 1961. He was educated at Wath-on-Dearne Comprehensive School in Rotherham, Magdalen College, Oxford and INSEAD Business School, France. Whilst at Oxford, he was President of the Union and of the University Conservative Association. Before entering Parliament, he worked for Shell UK and McKinsey & Co.

He has been the Member for Richmond, Yorkshire since 1989. Whilst in Government, he was Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Rt Hon Norman Lamont MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1990-93; Joint Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the DSS from 1993-94; and Minister of State, DSS (with responsibility for Social Security and Disabled People) from 1994-95. He joined the Cabinet in 1995 as Secretary of State for Wales. He served as Leader of the Conservative Party from 1997 to 2001. He married Ffion Jenkins in December 1997.
