RFDC26 Commemorating the Aviation links with Bristol - Concorde FDC

RFDC 26 RAF Museum First Day Cover commemorating the link of aviation with the City of Bristol. The cover artwork shows a British Airways Concorde taking off from Filton. Filton was of course home for Concorde and where most of the test flights were carried out from. The cover has been flown in a British Airways Concorde.

The cover bears complete set of Urban Renewel Stamps issued on the 10 April 1984 cancelled with BFPS 1835 postmark for the 70th Anniversary of the first flight of the Bristol Scout, which was built at the Bristol Factory at Filton. The 28p stamp shows the Bristol Exhibition Centre.
