RAF FDC39 1996 Olympics RAF FDC signed CO 11 Tornado Sqn

Cover bears full set of 1996 Olympics stamps cancelled on 1st Day of Issue with BFPS 2525 depicting 11 Squadron's twin eagles crest. Cover also depicts the Squadron Badge of 11 Squadron and a Tornado which is the aircraft flown by 11 Squadron.
Cover has been flown in Tornado from RAF Leeming as one of an 8-ship formation escorting Tornado GR1 aircraft against a mixed Combat Air Patrol of Tornado F3 and USAF F15C aicraft defending a High Value Airborne Defence Asset.
